Torrance Daily Breeze, DB 1-41 ***PUBLIC NOTICE*** The BOARD OF TRUSTEES of the CENTINELA VALLEY UNION HIGH SCHOOL DISTRICT ANNOUNCES MEMBER VACANCY FOR THE POSITION OF BOARD TRUSTEE AREA ONE The Board of Education of Centinela Union High School District intends to fill a vacancy by provisional appointment to serve until the regularly scheduled Governing Board election in November 2017. The Board invites any resident of District Area One, who is 18 years of age or older, a registered voter and who is not disqualified by the Constitution or laws of the State from holding a civil office, to submit an application stating qualifications and reasons for seeking appointment to the Board of Trustees of the Centinela Valley Union High School District. Deadline for all completed applications to be submitted, in person, by: February 1, 2016 5:00 PM Following a review of the applications, the board will schedule interviews with selected candidates. Interviews of the selected applicants and final selection will be held at the regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, February 9, 2016.
