Torrance Daily Breeze, DB 7-21 NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING AND NOTICE OF A FIELD TRIP PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF ROLLING HILLS, CALIFORNIA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing and a field visit on TUESDAY, July 19 2016 at approximately 8:15 a.m. to view a silhouette for a proposed project at 34 Saddleback Road, Rolling Hills, CA in the following zoning case: ZONING CASE NO. 904-REVISED. Request for a Site Plan Review, a Conditional Use Permit and a Variance for grading and construction of an 1,140 square foot stable with 1,032 square feet of covered porches and 5,500 square foot riding ring and to encroach with the riding ring into the front and side setbacks at 34 Saddleback Road (Lot 102-RH) Rolling Hills, CA, (Delgado). The project has been determined to be categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act, (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15303 of the CEQA Guidelines. APPLICATIONS REQUIRED BY MUNICIPAL CODE: Site Plan Review Chapter 17.46, Conditional Use Permit Chapter 17.42 and Variances Chapter 17.38. The Planning Commission is scheduled to visit another property at 7:30 a.m. and then will proceed to subject site. The Planning Commission held a public hearing on subject zoning case on May 17, 2016 and a field trip on June 21 at which time the Commissioners heard detailed presentation of the proposal and suggested that the applicant make changes to the project. The purpose of the field trip is to familiarize the members of the Planning Commission and interested parties with the location, topography, size and extent of the project. Any person is welcome to review the subject applications and plans prior to the public hearing at the City Hall Administration Building located at 2 Portuguese Bend Road, Rolling Hills. We welcome your input. You may provide your comments in writing to the Planning Department prior to the meeting or come to the meeting and address the Planning Commission on this project. If you challenge the approval or denial of these permit applications in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing. The Planning Commission will continue to discuss and deliberate this case at their regular meeting, scheduled in the evening of the field trip day, Tuesday, July 19, 2016 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chamber.
