All bids shall be made on the form furnished by the City and shall be opened and publicly read aloud at the above-stated time at the place of bid receipt identified above. Sealed bids must be placed in a sealed package with the project name and identification number, if provided, typed or clearly printed on the lower left corner of the package. PROJECT IDENTIFICATION AND NAME: Street Sweeping Services Fiscal Year 2016/17-2017/18-2018/19-2019/20. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work to be performed consists of providing street sweeping services for the City of Rancho Palos Verdes, California in pre-designated areas and on pre-determined schedules at selected hours. TERM OF CONTRACT: The contract period shall be July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2020. The contract may be extended for up to three additional years by mutual consent. COMPENSATION: Payments for the period of July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2020 shall be in the amounts listed on the Bid Sheet. OBTAINING BID DOCUMENTS: Contract documents for the above referenced project may be obtained at the Office of the Director of Public Works, City Hall, Rancho Palos Verdes upon payment of $25.00 for each set, $40.00 if mailed.
