NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the TORRANCE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, acting by and through its Board of Education, hereinafter "the District" will receive up to, but not later that the above-stated date and time, sealed Bid Proposals for the Contract for the Work of the Project generally described as BID NO 12-04.19.16 TORRANCE USD MOVING SERVICES Submittal of Bid Proposals. All Bid Proposals shall be submitted on forms furnished by the District. Bid Proposals must conform with, and be responsive to, the Bid Proposal and Contract Documents, copies of which may be obtained from the District as set forth above. Only Bid Proposals submitted to the District prior to the date and time set forth above for the Bid Proposals shall be considered. 1. Bid Proposal and Contract Documents. The Bid Proposal and Contract Documents are available at the TUSD Purchasing Department, 2335 Plaza Del Amo, Torrance, California, 90501, contact: Diana Kean, Buyer, kean.diana@tusd.org or phone 310-972-6215. 2. Documents Accompanying Bid Proposal. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by: (a) Subcontractors List; (b) Non-Collusion Affidavit; (c) Bidders Qualification. 3. DVBE. In Accordance with EC 17076.11, the District has a participation goal of 3 percent for DVBE for requirements. 4. License Classification. In accordance with the provisions of California Public Contract Code 3300, the District requires that Bidders possess an active California P.U.C. MTR Carrier ID Number. 5. No Withdrawal of Bid Proposals. Bid Proposals shall not be withdrawn by any Contractor for a period of Sixty (60) calendar days after the opening of Bid Proposals. During this time, all Contractors shall guarantee prices quoted in their respective Bid Proposals. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Proposals.
